Oct 26th The School will be close to-morrow as arranged, being the Autumn Holiday. During the week ending at this date 1 pupil was admitted and none left. Roll 188, average 174.1
Nov 1st School opened for admission of pupils up to and including the Qualifying Classes, with the exception of pupils presently in the Qualifying Classes of Muiravonside School, and 56 pupils presented themselves for enrolment in the respective Classes.
Mr John Holden, Convener of the School Committee, visited the School, and checked Registers.
Nov 2nd Miss Catherine Ross Wilson, Certificated Teacher, began her duties in this school.

To the arrangement described above the Committee agreed, and, in respect that I consider the Infant - room to be understaffed, I advised the appointment of a Certificated Assistant for that department, and the Committee are taking the necessary steps for this appointment.

Nov.11th Miss Alice Rose, Certificated Teacher (Glasgow Provincial Committee 1909-1911) began her duties in this School.

Nov.22nd Intimation received from the Clerk of the Board that the School would be officially known to the Scotch Education Department in future as “Muiravonside, Maddiston Public School”.

Dec.1st During the week ending qt this date 6 pupils were admitted and none left. Roll 252. Average 230.4
Intimation received from the Clerk of the Board that it had been arranged to close the School for the New Year Holidays on Thursday the 28th Dec. and reopen on Tuesday the 9th of January.

Decr.25th The School was closed on the afternoon of this day, on the instruction of the Convener of the School Committee as practically all of the R.C. pupils had absented themselves in the forenoon.
Decr.28th The School was closed on this day for the New – Year Holidays, which extended to Tuesday the 9th Jan. 1912.
